Why We Built Adakings

Before Adakings, getting a fast, filling, genuinely good plate of Ghanaian food near campus meant long queues, inconsistent quality, or settling for less. We built Adakings to close that gap — without cutting corners on flavor or fairness.

Built on fair standards

Being black-owned and Ghanaian isn't just our identity, it's a responsibility we take seriously. That means sourcing from Ghanaian suppliers where we can, paying our team fairly, and training young people in the kitchen and hospitality skills that carry beyond Adakings.

It also means never treating 'fast food' as an excuse for average food. Every meal is prepared fresh to order, using recipes rooted in Ghanaian tradition and perfected over years, not shortcuts.

Where we're headed

Adakings started with one kitchen and one belief. As we grow — through new branches and franchise partners — that belief hasn't changed: Ghanaian food, done right, served fast, and served with pride.
