Who we are

Adakings Franchise Corporation Ltd. (“Adakings”, “we”) decides how and why the information described here is used. Our registered address is TF Hostel, Haatso-Atomic Rd.. [Data Protection Commission registration: status and number not yet verified] For anything about your information, email hello@adakings.com.

This policy covers this website (adakings.com) and our ordering app at adakingsapp.com. If you apply for a job, our recruitment privacy notice explains how we handle your application, your application page and online interviews.

What we collect, and why

  • Browsing the site. If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to understand which pages are visited and how people find us, and to measure our advertising. They receive the pages you view, your device and browser type, your approximate location and identifiers stored in cookies. If you decline, neither is loaded. We remember your choice in your browser.
  • Ordering through adakingsapp.com. [what the ordering app collects (for example account, order, delivery and payment details), why, and which payment and delivery providers receive it: to be confirmed from the ordering app]
  • Contacting us. Our email and WhatsApp links open your own email or WhatsApp app; we receive what you send us and use it to reply.
  • Franchise enquiries. Your name, email, phone number, city, country, business experience, investment interest and message, so we can respond to your enquiry.
  • New Frontiers lending. Your name, phone number, email, residential address, the amount you want to lend and your message. If we go ahead, also your payment method and transaction reference, your acceptance of the lending agreement, the agreement itself, and the emails we send you about it. We use this to assess your application, enter into and carry out the agreement (including repayment), and keep the financial records the law requires.
  • Job applications. See the recruitment privacy notice. The application page and online interview never load analytics or advertising tracking.
  • Security. Our website host keeps technical logs (such as connection addresses and request times) to keep the site running and secure.

We don't sell your information, and we don't make decisions about you by automated means alone.

Who we share it with

Service providers that process information on our behalf and only as we instruct:

  • Vercel (website hosting)
  • Sanity (our content and records platform, where lending enquiries and job applications are stored)
  • Resend (email) and Arkesel (text messages)
  • Google (Analytics) and Meta (Pixel), only if you accept cookies
  • [providers used by the ordering app, such as payment and delivery services]

Some of them store or process information outside Ghana. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

How long we keep it

  • Job applications: as set out in the recruitment privacy notice.
  • Orders: [retention period for order and payment records].
  • Franchise enquiries: [retention period].
  • New Frontiers lending: for the life of the agreement and then [retention period for financial records]. Applications that don't go ahead: [retention period].
  • Analytics: [Google Analytics data-retention period, from the Analytics settings]; Meta according to its own policies.

Cookies

Analytics and advertising cookies are set only if you accept them. Pages that need you to sign in (such as your job application page) use their own cookies to keep you signed in; they're necessary for those pages to work and are removed when you sign out or they expire.

How we protect it

Enquiries and applications are stored in private records that only authorised staff can open, and connections to this site are encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit who can see your information to the people who need it.

Your rights

Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@adakings.com; we may need to confirm your identity first. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to Ghana's Data Protection Commission.

Changes

We'll update this policy when how we handle information changes, and show the date of the latest version at the top.
