Adakings began with a simple belief: Ghanaian food deserves a fast-food experience that matches its flavor. Our first kitchen opened near the University of Ghana, Legon, serving students who wanted a hot, generous plate of jollof or fried rice without the wait.
From day one, the standard was the same as it is today — would we be proud to serve this to our own family? That question shaped every recipe, every hire, and every branch we opened after.
A kitchen becomes a community
Word spread quickly across hostels and lecture halls. Customers kept coming back, not just for the food, but for the consistency — the same bold flavor, the same fast service, every single day. That loyalty gave us the confidence to open a second branch, then a third.
Today, Adakings serves the Legon community from TF Hostel, Bani Hostel, and near the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC), with franchise partners helping us bring Adakings even further across Ghana.
We're still the same company we were on day one: proudly Ghanaian, black-owned, and committed to food made with pride.
